With the WE-OEFA-LFS ferrite, Würth Elektronik offers an oval-shaped ferrite ring for interference suppression at low frequencies. Thanks to its unique oval shape, the ferrite ring is especially easy to slide over busbars for interference suppression. Its MnZn core material makes it ideal for suppressing low-frequency interference. The main application area for the new ferrite is EVs.

The AEC-Q200-certified device, with an operating temperature range of -40C to 105C, is created for high-current applications and the frequency range from 1MHz to 100MHz. This allows the ferrite to suppress EMI in battery management systems, inverters, onboard chargers, cable harnesses and many other applications. The latest interference suppression ferrite in the company's portfolio measures 15.6mm × 65.4mm × 35.4mm, while the cable or busbar it encloses can measure 43mm × 13mm. The device is available in ex-stock, with free samples provided for developers.
