SECH's high-performance ultracapacitors, new to Rutronik's supercap portfolio, combine the latest developments in the materials employed with innovative and patented high-end manufacturing processes, enabling an optimal price-performance ratio. The capacitors can be PCB-soldered and have a very high energy and power density compared to comparable components. They are obtainable in industry-standard dimensions and with capacitances from 3F to 100F. Accordingly, they function with high energy efficiency even at high charging and discharging currents. The ultracapacitors meet the test requirements of industry standards such as AEC-Q200, ISO16750-3, or SAE 2464 and are suitable for industry and automotive applications. These and other components from SECH SA are available on the e-commerce platform.

The anti-wetting ultracapacitors are obtainable in industry standard dimensions. They operate reliably in a temperature range from -40C to +65C and have an excellent service life with a cycle stability of up to 500,000 cycles.

Available in different versions with capacities between 3F and 100F, they also have a very low ESR and score points with a nominal cell voltage of 3V. Compared to similar components, these ultracapacitors have a very high energy and power density (up to 6Wh/kg or to 7kW/kg). They can be charged and discharged particularly quickly but are also ideal as a power backup for the power supply.

Application examples include automotive, EV charging, keyless entry/door lock, smart meter, factory automation, emergency power supply, power backup, drive technology, connectivity, GPS tracker, and GSM.
