Mono LCD displays offer lower cost and lower power

Inelco Hunter has announced a range of Monochrome LCDs for applications that do not need a colour display. Monochrome displays are advantageous because they are lower cost, power consumption, and processing needs. The transflective-type LCD screens combine low power with high brightness, making them ideal for sunlight-readable portable products.

Character LCD modules are available in 8×2,m16×1, 16×2, 16×4, 20×4, and 40×2 formats, with a standard or custom design solution.

Graphic LCMs with controller ICs are offered with the following resolutions: 120×32, 122×32,128×64, 240×64, 240×128, and 320×240.

COG Graphic displays with one-chip solutions and resolutions from 128×64, 128×128, 240×64, 240×128, 240×160, and 320×240.

Mono screens are ideal for applications needing a simple status display, including factory automation, industrial machinery, medical devices and commercial applications such as EV chargers, vending machines, IoT equipment and home appliances.

The company also offers custom options, which are available upon request.
