Arrow Electronics has announced a distribution agreement with semiconductor, IoT systems and cloud connectivity service provider Semtech, which enables the company to market the entire portfolio throughout the EMEA region.
Semtech’s product range includes LoRa wireless transceivers for IoT end nodes and ICs for sensing, signal integrity, power management, and circuit protection.
“We can immediately start to grow our business with Semtech, leveraging the strong foundation we have already established,” commented Matthias Hutter, vice president product management and supplier marketing EMEA, Arrow Electronics. “We expect to boost our position leveraging the broad Semtech portfolio, in particular benefiting from the extra flexibility to develop the opportunities we see in the burgeoning IoT space.”

The new agreement builds on the synergy between Semtech’s technologies and Arrow’s range of associated products and services that enable customers to create, connect, and manage IoT devices. As well as engineering support, the company has connected with cellular carriers, cloud providers and installation providers to assist customers in quickly deploying IoT devices and begin working with the data immediately. The framework helps swiftly roll out applications for asset tracking, environmental monitoring, business analytics, healthcare, manufacturing process improvement, and many other uses.
