The special feature is incorporated in the DC connector. An innovative piece of electronics, directly built into the connector, actively quenches the electric arc. The ability to connect and disconnect under load allows selected system parts to be shut down safely for parts replacements or maintenance while the rest of the system remains in operation. This means high availability – with downtimes being a thing of the past.

With degrees of protection up to IP69, high impact strength of up to IK08, and long-term outdoor suitability, the connector shows its strengths in many application areas.
