At PCIM 2024, the Electropages team visited Avnet Silica and explored innovative power solutions, including a 25kW onsemi charging demo capable of powering two homes. The team also checked out a prototype electric motorbike from Avnet Silica, boasting 50kW peak power and a virtual clutch for enhanced control and energy recuperation. This bike utilises silicon carbide to ensure high efficiency and performance in various riding conditions, showcasing the critical role of this technology in modern electric vehicles.
