Carlos Castro, in charge of the GaN business at Nexperia, recently led a demonstration at PCIM Europe. Nexperia, a global semiconductor manufacturer, showcased their latest advancements in GaN business and eMode technology.
Nexperia exhibited four distinct evaluation boards during the event. Two of these boards represent their over the mode technology, specifically designed for high voltage and high power applications.
Carlos Castro also unveiled Nexperia's eMode technology, which is expected to significantly impact consumer and industrial applications. The eMode technology was displayed on the other two evaluation boards. Nexperia announced the launch of seven new products featuring this novel technology at PCIM Europe.
eMode technology is mainly targeted towards consumer and industrial applications. It is anticipated to boost the efficiency of a wide range of devices including mobile phone chargers, notebooks, e-bikes, televisions, and power supplies. By enhancing the power density, eMode technology can reduce the size of these systems and, ultimately, decrease the overall cost.
Nexperia's demonstration at PCIM Europe marked a significant advancement in GaN business and eMode technology. Their innovative solutions are designed to transform consumer and industrial applications by enhancing efficiency and power density while reducing costs.
