NXP's Matter Solutions: Simplifying Smart Home Development
At Embedded World North America, Electropages stopped by the NXP booth to chat with Sujata Neidig, Product Marketing Director for Wireless Connectivity. Sujata showcased NXP’s Matter solutions designed to simplify smart home development. The demo highlighted the MCX W71, a $30 Freedom Board ideal for creating low-power Matter-enabled end devices using thread technology.
Sujata also explained how NXP's solutions, including the RW 612 wireless MCU for routers, support seamless connectivity between smart home devices through the Matter protocol. This helps developers speed up time to market while ensuring compatibility across ecosystems like Apple, Amazon, and Google.
