Mouser is now stocking the Maxim MAX11253 16-bit delta-sigma
analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The 6-channel, 16-bit device achieves
exceptional performance while consuming very little power making it ideal
for applications such as analog I/O for programmable logic controllers
(PLCs), battery-powered instrumentation, pressure sensors and weighing
scales.
Sample rates up to 64ksps allow precision DC measurements. The MAX11253
communicates via an SPI serial interface and is available in a small (5mm x
5mm) TQFN package. The MAX11253 offers a 6.2nV/ noise programmable gain
amplifier (PGA) with gain settings from 1x to 128x. The integrated PGA
provides isolation of the signal inputs from the switched capacitor sampling
network. The PGA also enables the MAX11253 to interface directly with
high-impedance sources without compromising available dynamic range.
