Versatile high-voltage switchers integrate a fixed frequency current mode

15-09-2015 | Mouser Electronics | Power

Integrating a fixed frequency current mode controller with a 700V MOSFET, ON Semiconductor's NCP1x high-voltage switchers are now stocked by Mouser. The devices offer a high level of integration, including soft-start, frequency-jittering, short-circuit protection, skip-cycle, adjustable peak current set point, ramp compensation and a Dynamic Self-Supply (eliminating the need for an auxiliary winding). They are available in PDIP-7, SOIC-10 or SOIC-16 packages. Applications include auxiliary, standby isolated and non-isolated power supplies, white goods, smart meters, E-meters, power meter SMPS, and wide Vin low-power industrial SMPS.
