Mouser now stocks the Lumileds LUXEON CoB 1216 - the company's latest addition to the LUXEON chip-on-board (CoB) portfolio. The CoB 1216 newcomers have 40% greater flux than existing CoBs in an identical mechanical footprint. They have 10% higher efficiency and 10% higher lumen output at the same drive currents as existing LUXEON CoB. The LUXEON CoB 2016 are easy to work with, enabling simplified and less expensive luminaire designs. They have a small Light Emitting Surface (LES) and industry-leading thermal resistance. They are available in 3-step MacAdam ellipse, ensuring uniform optical performance in a wide range of applications such as architectural, downlights, high / low bay, lamps, outdoor, specialty lighting and spotlights.
