Analog Front-End solutions designed for ultrasound systems

Available from Mouser, the Texas Instruments AFE5816EVM/AFE5818EVM evaluation modules (EVMs) are highly integrated analog front-end (AFE) solutions specifically designed for ultrasound systems in which high performance and small size are required. The evaluation modules integrate a complete time-gain-control (TGC) imaging path and a continuous wave Doppler (CWD) path. They also enable users to select one of various power/noise combinations to optimize system performance. This makes them not only suitable for ultrasound analog front end solutions but for high-end systems and portable systems. These evaluation modules require and connect with the TSW1400EVM for LVDS data capture and evaluation, which is available to purchase separately. It requires the HSDCPro software to function.
