KEMET Electronics HV-HT Series high voltage, high temp 200C multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs), now stocked by Mouser, are constructed of a robust and proprietary base metal electrode (BME) dielectric system that offers industry-leading performance at extreme temperatures. These surface mountable C0G capacitors feature 200C maximum operating temperature and are specifically designed to withstand the demands of harsh industrial environments such as oil exploration, automotive and avionics engine compartment circuitry.
The MLCCs are temperature compensating and are suited for resonant circuit applications or those where Q and stability of capacitance characteristics are required. The capacitors exhibit no change in capacitance with respect to time and voltage and boast a negligible change in capacitance with respect to ambient temperature. Capacitance change is limited to ±30ppm/C from -55C to +200C. The capacitors also exhibit high insulation resistance with low dissipation factor at elevated temperatures up to 200C and low ESR at high frequencies.
The series is available in EIA case sizes 2824, 3040, 3640, and 4540, providing a maximum capacitance of 150nF with voltages up to 2000V.
