STMicroelectronics BlueNRG-1 Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) wireless system-on-chip extends the features of the award-winning BlueNRG network processor. It is available now from Mouser. The SoC enables the usage of the embedded Cortex M0 for running user application code.
The devices have an extremely power-efficient integrated radio transceiver for modes frequently used by devices like beacons. Battery life can be extended by their ability to transition quickly between power-saving and active modes.
In addition, RF-output power is boosted to +8dBm to ensure clear and reliable communication for optimum efficiency, even in noisy environments.
