Mouser now stocks the FM4 S6E2H-Series microcontrollers from Cypress Semiconductor. Designed for motor control and industrial automation applications, the 32-bit S6E2H-Series offers highly integrated hardware-based features, provides superior performance needed for Industry 4.0 applications, and delivers the scalability to minimise design costs and accelerate time-to-market. The microcontrollers are based on a 540 CoreMark, 160-MHz ARM Cortex-M4 CPU core. The series comes equipped with up to 512kB of on-chip flash memory and up to 64kB of SRAM with a 16kB flash accelerator. The microcontrollers include a hardware watchdog timer (WDT), low-voltage detection, and clock supervisor blocks for safety-critical applications. The portfolio includes serial communication interfaces (UART, CSIO (SPI), I2C, LIN), two CAN bus interfaces, and advanced control peripherals such as motor control timers with three analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) and a Quadrature Position/Revolution Counter. The microcontrollers are available now in FBGA121 and LQFP80/100/120 packages, and operate over a temperature range of -40C to +105C. The devices are ideally-suited for a broad array of motor control, industrial, and home appliance applications.
