Available now from Mouser are the KEMET T598 automotive polymer electrolytic capacitors. The capacitors are a high performance automotive grade series developed to deliver high reliability and stability under harsh environmental conditions. Special enhancements to the design and material were introduced to deliver 1,000 hours under 85C/85%RH test conditions /VR and to fully comply with all AEC-Q200 Qualification Testing.
The T598 Series is manufactured in an ISO TS16949 certified plant and is subjected to PPAP/PSW and change control.
Ideal applications include decoupling and filtering in a variety of market segments, and special emphasis in automotive applications such as infotainment and input/output in DC-DC converters where hard conditions such as high humidity and temperature are a concern.
