Multi-sensor system transforms distance data into clear information about the driving environment

Leti has announced that their embedded sensor fusion solution, SigmaFusion, has been embedded in Infineon Technologies’ AURIXTM TC29x platform. This platform enables automotive developers to control powertrain, body, safety and ADAS applications with one single microcontroller family. SigmaFusion is Leti’s low-power, sensor-fusion solution that transforms the myriad of incoming distance data into clear information about the driving environment. It combines, merges and feeds exhaustive data to an autonomous car's autopilot perception layer.
