New infrared temperature sensor ideal for cleanliness and hygiene applications

27-06-2017 | RS Components | Test & Measurement

Calex PyroCAN series infrared temperature sensors, available now from RS Components, measure the temperature of a surface and transmit via CAN Bus using the Raw CAN protocol. The sensor can be connected to a network with more PyroCAN sensors and other types of CAN device. A configurable CAN ID allows it to be connected easily to an existing network. The device has a temperature range of -20C to 1000C and has adjustable emissivity setting. These non-contact sensors with stainless steel bodies are protected to IP65 making them ideal for applications where cleanliness and hygiene are important.
