Hall effect ICs for linear position detection and current measurement applications

07-07-2017 | RS Components | Test & Measurement

Infineon linear Hall effect ICs, available now from RS Components, are designed for linear position detection and current measurement applications. These sensors may include features such as a ratiometric analogue output. The sensors can be used for applications in linear and angular position sensing, battery management, electronic fuses and motor control. A range of integrated circuits from the company utilize the Hall Effect to implement non-contact switching and sensing functions. The ICs fall into three basic categories: Linear Sensors, Switches, and Latches. Hall Effect switches are also available with two-wire current level operation.
