The RaspberryPi-B1 module by Eccel Technology Limited is based around the RFID B1 module. It is available now from RS Components. The device was introduced as a hat product and is suitable for adding RFID/NFC(13.56MHz) capability to the Raspberry Pi. The device is simple and easy to use without extensive RFID and embedded software knowledge. It meets the Raspberry Pi Hat standard. The product is also suitable for embedded applications and computing / PLC platforms. Suitable applications include access control, monitoring goods, approval and monitoring consumables, pre-payment systems, managing resources, connection-less data storage systems, and evaluation and development of RFID systems.
