Power factor correction capacitors ideal for indoor mounting and are naturally air cooled

EPCOS Phasecap B25673A Series are Power Factor Correction (PFC) metallised polypropylene film capacitors and available now from RS Components. These film capacitors are wave cut and feature concentric winding. Constructed in a cylindrical aluminium case with a threaded stud on the base, they have an overpressure disconnector and a ceramic discharge module. With optimised safety terminals, the capacitors are suitable for indoor mounting and are naturally air cooled (forced air cooling). They are polypropylene film dielectric and constructed from non-PCB, semi-dry biodegradable resin. These film capacitors utilise self-healing technology and come in a compact size.
