Passive infrared motion sensors offer standard, long distance and dual zone sensing options

Panasonic offer a new range of infrared PIR human body motion detectors with standard, long distance and dual zone sensing options. They are available now from RS Compontents. For battery operation devices with standby current consumption of 1µA are available. Applications include occupancy detection, lighting control and intruder alarms. They are available in white, pearl white and black colour options. The standby mode current consumption is 170µA, with an operating voltage of 3V to 6V.
