Vishay Intertechnology offers a new series of thick film chip resistors for automotive and industrial applications. The Vishay Draloric RCA-HP e3 series devices combine advanced sulfur resistance, excellent pulse load performance, and high power ratings in a single device.
For high sulfur environments, the AEC-Q200 qualified resistors released today feature a construction that provides a sulfur withstand ability in accordance with ASTM B809-95, tested at an advanced level of 90C for 1,000 hours. The robust devices withstand high and repetitive pulses and provide power ratings to 1.5W.
The series resistors are available in eight case sizes ranging from 0402 to 2512. The devices offer a resistance range from 1Ohm up to 1MOhm with tolerances of ±1% and ±5%, TCR of ±100ppm/K and ±200ppm/K, and an operating voltage range from 50V to 500V.
The resistors are RoHS-compliant and halogen-free, feature single-sided (0402) or double-sided (0603 through 2512) printed resistor elements with a protective coating. The devices offer pure tin plating, which provides compatibility with lead (Pb)-free and lead-containing soldering processes.
