Mouser is now shipping the EYSHSNZWZ Bluetooth low energy module from Taiyo Yuden. This ultra-compact module designed to help developers easily implement Bluetooth 5 technology into designs. A member of the company’s Bluetooth low energy module family, the device boasts an extremely small 3.25mm × 8.55mm × 0.9mm footprint for space-constrained applications and pairs well with other sensors that require minimal space and power.
The company’s module is powered by a Nordic nRF52832 SoC, which contains a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4F processor with 512kb of flash memory and 64kb of RAM. The SoC also includes a 12-bit analog-to-digital converter and support for SPI, UART, I2C, and I2S interfaces.
The device integrates a high-performance PCB antenna, 32MHz system clock, and support for NFC-A Type-2 for touch-to-pair applications. The module offers typical output power of +4dBm, and works in the low-power 2.4GHz ISM band.
The RoHS-compliant module is FCC, IC, and MIC certified and is ideal for low-power wireless applications, such as wearables, heart rate and blood pressure monitors, thermometers, and mobile accessories.
