New enclosure offers extra deep case for wide range of applications

Available now from OKW, METCASE has a new extra-deep 24” version of its COMBIMET 19” enclosures which are ideal for server rack type applications. Applications for the range include networking, communications, AV and studio systems, laboratory instruments, industrial computers and control systems. The new cases are 610mm (24”) deep – significantly deeper than the existing standard depths of 265mm and 365 mm. The new depth is suitable for deep 19” racks, for example, 1,000mm. All of these enclosures offer complete access to the PCBs: the top, base and rear panels are removable. The top and base can be specified as either vented or unvented. Other features include ergonomic front panel handles and mounting holes for PCBs and chassis. M4 earth studs on all components ensure electrical continuity.
