New synchronous buck controller gives designers flexibility to tune their power supply

13-12-2017 | Texas Instruments | Power

Texas Instruments’ new LM5145 wide VIN synchronous buck controller gives designers the flexibility to tune their power supply for extremely high efficiency or small solution size with the comfort of transient protection to 105V. With a voltage-mode architecture and very low minimum on and off times, the device can manage a wider range of duty cycles than any device in its class. This gives you the ability to address low drop out DC-DC applications as well as conversions with very high step-down ratios.
