Matrix Orbital EVE2 TFT Modules, available now from Mouser, utilise FTDI's second generation EVE to render, control, manage, and display complex graphics on full-colour TFT touchscreen.
These TFTs feature touch control hardware, that is capable of recognising and tracking touch movement, providing notification for up to 255 touch objects. The mono eight-bit linear audio wave playback at sampling frequencies from 8kHz to 48kHz is made possible by the built-in sound synthesizer and digital filter.
The TFTs communicate using SPI protocol and can be configured for quad SPI communication. These protocols make the module compatible with many MCU available on the market. These include the FDI FT900, NXO 17XX, Arduino, and many more. The TFTs are available in six different sizes with touch or non-touch capabilities.
