The Sensiron SGPC3, available now from RS Components, is a digital low-power gas sensor designed for indoor air quality applications. The company's CMOSens technology offers a complete sensor system on a single chip featuring a digital I2C interface and a temperature controlled micro-hotplate and a preprocessed indoor air quality signal. The sensing element features unmatched robustness against contaminating gases present in real-world applications enabling unique long-term stability and low drift.
The sensor offers outstanding long-term stability, with low power consumption of only 1mA at 1.8V. The device comes in a small six-pin DFN package (2.45mm x 2.45mm x 0.9m3).
