TFT modules enable quick addition of LCD display to designs

Newhaven Display HDMI TFT Display Modules allow developers and makers to quickly add a TFT LCD display to their designs. The modules are available now from Mouser. Rather than using a FPC ribbon cable, designers can connect a standard HDMI cable from their required computer or board directly into the TFT module. The modules are offered in 5" and 7" versions. The 5" modules all feature MVA technology and have the choice of resistive, capacitive, or no touch panel. The 7" modules offer the same selection of touch screen options, but also have the choice between Standard, Premium, or Sunlight Readable TFT displays. The modules without a touch panel have just two easy connections required to get it up and running, DC power and the HDMI interface. The touch panel versions only need an additional USB connection to automatically load up their touch functionality via the USB-HID (USB Human Interface Device) interface.
