Vishay Intertechnology has introduced a new series of AEC-Q200 qualified, medium voltage thick film chip resistors. The series has been created to save space and lower component counts in industrial and automotive applications, Vishay Techno CRMA series devices give high working voltages up to 1415V in five compact case sizes ranging from 1206 to 2512.
The devices offer higher voltage capabilities than standard thick film chip resistors. This delivers ideal battery management and overvoltage protection in electric vehicles and for voltage regulation and monitoring in high voltage power supplies, power inverters, smart circuit breakers and defibrillators.
The series resistors provide a wide resistance range from 150Ohm to 75MOhm, tolerances down to ±0.5%, temperature coefficients of ±100ppm/C, and power ratings from 0.30W to 1W. The devices are offered with solder-coated nickel barrier or solder-coated non-magnetic terminations in three-side wraparound or top-only flip chip configurations.
