LDO achieves very low noise with excellent transient response and PSRR performance

19-02-2018 | Texas Instruments | Power

The Texas Instruments TPS7A80 family of LDOs has very high PSRR at the output. This family employs an advanced BiCMOS process and a PMOSFET pass device to deliver excellent transient response, very low noise, and excellent PSRR performance. The family is stable with a 4.7µF ceramic output capacitor and uses a precision voltage reference and feedback loop to deliver a worst-case accuracy of 3% over all load, process, line, and temperature variations. This family is fully specified over the temperature range of TJ = –40C to +125C, and is offered in a 3mm × 3mm, VSON-8 package with a thermal pad.
