New solderless RF connectors offer faster assembly time, repeatability and performance

Intelliconnect has a new range of cost-effective 2.9mm connectors providing solderless attachment to 0.085"(RG405) and 0.141" cables. System designers will find the main advantages of these connectors are faster assembly time, repeatability and performance and they also provide field replaceable connectivity. The company’s newly-developed unique clamping technology offers similar I/L and VSWR results to conventional soldered connectors. No special tooling is needed and cable retention force is comparable to soldered versions.
