New power input filter module reduces noise to meet EMI standards

Elec & Eltek Magnetic Products have recently released an input filter module to reduce noise to enable designers to easily meet EMI standards. They are available now from Luso Electronics. The MD-R0122 is offered in a surface mount package which is fit, form and function compatible with other filters available from other manufacturers such as the popular FLT007 module. Being designed to work over an input voltage range up to 100VDC, at operating temperature of -40C to 85C this module is optimised to work with DC-DC converters to decrease conducted noise and allow the requirements of various EMI standards to be met. The module is used in distributed power or intermediate bus architectures. The cost-effective open frame construction is targeted at volume applications where speed to market is key. Designed to enable quick implementation this module is UL and VDE approved, CE marked and complies with the basic insulation requirements of EN60950-1.
