High-speed backplane connectors for high-performing, high-bandwidth systems

TE Connectivity's Strada Whisper high-speed backplane connectors are designed to transfer data at a blinding speed of 25Gbit/s. This makes them perfect for use in high-performing, high-bandwidth systems. The connectors can also be scaled up to 56Gbit/s for later upgrades with no need for expensive backplane or midplane redesign. These connectors work with low noise, low insertion loss and low skew allowing design flexibility. The design of these connectors uses EON technology, and the footprint is created to reduce crosstalk. The signal pins of these connectors are protected by C-shaped 360-ground shields which provide high signal integrity. Ideal applications include servers and storage, switches, routers, optical transport and wireless infrastructure.
