Mouser is now stocking the XLamp CMT LED arrays from Cree. These new high-current LEDs claim to produce the industry’s best lumen output, efficacy and reliability for high-drive currents. The LEDs produce up to 45% more lumen density and up to 17% higher efficacy.
The arrays offer an innovative metal substrate technology that provides higher reliability than other LEDs using metal chip-on-board (COB) packaging. The CMT LEDs can be installed directly to the heat sink with no separate circuit board, removing the need for holders, simplifying the luminaire manufacturing process, and decreasing system cost. The new LEDs are compatible with the existing ecosystem of holders and optics for the CXA2 LED family, allowing lighting manufacturers to increase the lumen output of their products with minimum redesign requirements.
The family includes ten LEDs with LES sizes ranging from 9.8mm to 22mm addressing a broad variety of lighting applications, including track, downlight, directional, low and high-bay and architectural designs. Featuring the company's EasyWhite bins, the XLamp CMT LED arrays are available in CCTs of 2700K–6500K with standard colour options of 70, 80 and 90CRI.
