Capacitors specially designed for audio applications

The RS Pro 1nF Mica capacitors have been specially designed for audio applications. The devices are constructed from the ?nest Indian Ruby Mica plates which are cut by hand and then have silver electrodes printed on. The plates are stacked by hand to the required value, have their edges reinforced with silver paste and then sintered at 560C. After ?ring they are cut into individual chips ready for lead attachment again produced by hand. To enhance their audio properties, solid silver lead wires are attached before ?nal trimming and dipping in epoxy resin. Featuring voltage of 500VDC and device dimensions of 15mm x 6.5mm x 13mm, the flat construction has a lead pitch of 10.2mm. The operating temperature range is from -55C to a maximum of +100C.
