OKW's Smart-Terminal is designed for peripheral and interface equipment, communications, safety engineering, biometrics, medical and laboratory technology, healthcare, measurement and control engineering.
The new case canting kit inclines the product by 12-degrees to create an ergonomic reading and operating angle. No extra screws are needed to fit the kit, the lava grey canting mouldings are held in place by the side covers. Four non-slip rubber feet are also included.
The product’s aluminium case body has a large recessed area on top for displays, membrane keypads and operating elements. PCBs slide in to guide rails in the case body or can be attached to the base.
The cases are available with flat anodised end panels or moulded covers in UV stable lava grey ASA+PC-FR with deep recesses to protect cables and connectors. These covers sit inside soft-touch TPV grey or green seals. All the case parts are assembled with security Torx screws.
The case kit is available in one width (170mm) and height (50mm) and three standard lengths: 202mm, 242mm and 282mm.
