Vision Engineering has released its brand new class of TVM Field of View (FOV) video measurement systems. TVM blends a small footprint, with larger system performance and ease of use. Time-saving instant FOV measurements and a moving stage enable larger components to be measured quickly and simply.
The series comprises TVM20 and TVM35, with FOV sizes of 20mm and 35mm respectively. Both systems are intended to meet rigorous quality assurance applications in automotive, aerospace, electronics, medical and plastics manufacturing, providing rapid, accurate non-contact measurement. Components can be immediately measured within the field of view with the click of a mouse.
The comprehensive, user-friendly software supports a wide range of applications, performing the precision and clarity that is expected from expensive high-end video measurement systems. The abundant suite of features comprises simple data import/export, image stitching and reporting facilities.
Commenting on the launch of the TVM20 and TVM35, Mark Curtis, managing director of Vision Engineering said: “TVM is a new class of noncontact measuring system that distils the best parts of our existing metrology range into a compact system, delivering fast and flexible measurement to meet the most stringent QC/QA requirements. TVM marks a new era of high accuracy, flexible field of view metrology tools.”
