Texas Instruments ESD351 1-Channel 30kV ESD Protection Diodes are uni-directional and provide low dynamic resistance RDYN and low clamping voltage. The device is rated to dissipate ESD strikes up to 30kV (contact and air) level. This is per the IEC 61000-4-2 standard. Features include ultra-low dynamic resistance (0.1Ohm) and very low clamping voltage (6.5V at 16A TLP), guarding against transient events. The device is ideal for protecting interfaces such as USB 2.0, with a capacitance of 1.8pF (typical).
Typical applications include end equipment, such as wearables, industrial and Service Robots, laptops and Desktops, mobile and Tablets, set-Top Boxes, DVR and NVR, TV and Monitors, and EPOS. Also included are USB 2.0/1.1, GPIO, pushbuttons, and audio interfaces.
