APEM has announced the launch of the JC series, a multi-axis Hall effect joystick. Designed especially for keyboard integration, the series measures just 26mm below panel making it an excellent solution where space is limited, and precision control is needed. Well suited applications include security and surveillance cameras, medical devices and measurement systems.
The series uses proven Hall effect technology to give up to five million lifecycles of control. With over a dozen handle options, the series can be configured with up to three axes and two pushbuttons. The series provides a precision spring centring mechanism that gives an optimal return-to-centre voltage of 80mV. The series is intended for clean environment indoor applications with an operating temperature ranging from -25°C to +80°C.
The JC series will replace APEM’s best-selling HFX Side Plate series. The JC series features identical mounting cut-out dimensions and is backwards compatible to all HFX Side Plate series’ applications.
