Honeywell V15W2 Explosion-Proof Basic Switches, available from Mouser, are intended to diminish the risk of explosions in white goods and Zone 2 hazardous environments. These switches are environmentally sealed to stop flammable gases from penetrating the switching cavity. This lessens the chances of ignition of flammable gases in hazardous environments. The switches feature IP67 equivalent rating, quick-connect terminals, 5A electrical rating, global package size acceptance, and a mixture of actuators. Typical applications comprise valve actuators, ice makers, commercial refrigeration, HVAC/R, and appliances with new refrigerants. The switches comprise of different kinds of circuitry including SPDT, SPNO, and SPNC. These switches operate with 100gf or 200gf force over a temperature range of -25C to 85C. The switches come in a PBT thermoplastic polyester housing material with silicone sealing material.
