Surface-mount miniature highly stable oscillators for precision frequency applications

Saelig Company has introduced the OC51T series of surface mount miniature OCXO from frequency control specialists Euroquartz. These square-wave frequency sources are housed in a small surface-mount package and provide optimal frequency stability from a quartz IT-cut crystal. The series is offered in frequencies from 10MHz to 40MHz and comes in a 9.7mm x 7.5mm x 4.1mm miniature four-pad package with 3.3V and 5V supply voltage options. With voltage control as standard, the OCXOs produce frequency stability of ±20ppb maximum over a -40C to +85C range, making them perfect for use in applications demanding exceptionally accurate timing signals, such as cellular base stations, radio transmitters, defence communications equipment, and also for precision frequency measurement. Frequency stability versus temperature is even better at ±10ppb over the reduced -30C to +70C temperature range. Concerning voltage change, stability is ±10ppb for a ±5% input voltage variation.
