PULS Power offers their new DIN-Rail power supply CP20.241-V1 highlighting a remote-controlled ON/OFF feature. This provides system administrators and building automation controllers the ability to switch the power supply on or off by application of an external signal switch or transistor gate. This remote-control feature makes centralised control of multiple system components very simple to implement and offers an efficient shut-down facility in the event of a system failure or emergency.
The new device is part of the DIMENSION CP series, which offers efficient solutions for designers and systems integrators needing powerful and space-saving DIN rail power supplies.
Key specifications of the power supply include input voltage 100-240VAC and 110V-150VDC, active PFC, output 24-28VDC at 480W, current sharing feature for parallel operation, safe HiccupPLUS overload protection mode, easy breaking fuse at three times nominal current for 12ms, remote shut-down, DC-OK relay contact and dimensions of 48mm x 124mm x 127mm.
“Industrial and building automation is a high growth area with Industry 4.0 being implemented ever more widely. “comments Marco van der Linden, UK Country manager for PULS.” Providing the ability to control the output of our new DIN-Rail power supply from a remote location or autonomous AI system will be of great advantage to systems integrators.”
Typical applications for PULS DIN-Rail power supplies include industrial and process control, building automation, panel-building, test and measurement, instrumentation and communications systems. Versions are available approved for railway systems and ruggedised for harsh environments.
