New data book for aluminium electrolytic capacitors

TDK Corporation offers the fully revised data book for aluminium electrolytic capacitors with screw terminal, snap-in, axial and single-ended design. As well as proven products the book also includes many innovations, such as the screw terminal types of the B43707* and B43727* series. These provide rated voltages of 400VDC or 450VDC and cover a capacitance range from 1800μF to 18,000μF. The series is characterised by its high CV product and in dependence from the capacitance value due to its compact dimensions ranging from just 51.6mm x 80.7mm to 76.9mm x 220.7mm (D x H).

For the first time, the book incorporates the hybrid polymer types. These are the first in the world to be produced in an axial design, and they include a voltage range from 25VDC to 35VDC at capacitances of up to 2200μF. The great advantage of hybrid polymer technology is in its remarkably low ESR values, allowing a very high ripple current capability to be delivered.

Furthermore, the new book gives detailed technical descriptions. These offer development engineers with extensive and up-to-date reference work, giving effective support in the selection of the appropriate aluminium electrolytic capacitors. The book includes 696 pages and is available in English.
