Four chip LEDs optimised for forward lighting applications

ams OSRAM OSLON Black Flat X KW4 HPL631.TK LEDs, available now from Mouser, are high-performance four-chip light-emitting diodes optimised for forward lighting applications. These high-efficiency LEDs provide up to 2115lm at 1000mA, making them excellent replacements for halogen lamps. The pad geometry of the Black platform offers superior thermal performance, allowing developers to lower heatsink size or remove it from the application design entirely.

The LEDs offer an extremely high contrast 1:200 design due to the black case material and TiO2 casting. These devices are provided in a compact 7.59mm x 3.75mm x 0.5mm package ideal for high-density applications.

Typical application areas include automotive headlamps, low beam, high beam, halogen replacements and night vision.
