Rutronik now offers the F340 Y2 interference suppression film capacitors from Vishay. Certified in accordance with ENEC, CSA, CQC and UL for Safety and Humidity Robustness, the AEC-Q200-qualified Y2-class EMI suppression capacitors at 305VAC rated voltage provide outstanding performance in very harsh environments (THB Grade IIIB acc. IEC 60384-14: 2013 ed.4 / AMD1: 2016, withstanding 85C/85 RH/1.000h at URAC). The Automotive Grade components are appropriate for operation up to 125C for a limited time and for common mode filtering in DC buses up to 1500VDC. As a result, they are ideal for EMI filtering in automotive and industrial power electronic applications under very harsh environmental conditions.

The capacitor series is designed for a rated voltage of 305VAC and provides a capacitance range from 0.01µF to 1µF. Furthermore, the capacitors can be used with DC voltages up to 1,500VDC at +85C and 1,000VDC at +105C. The film capacitors use polypropylene film as a dielectric and are installed in a flame-retardant plastic housing sealed with epoxy resin and tested in accordance with UL class 94V-0.

They are RoHS-compliant, lead-free and are predestined for applications under particularly harsh conditions, such as in automotive BEV/PHEV applications (OBC, e-Compressors, Heating Systems, Traction Inverter) or renewable energy inverters, industrial motor drives, UPS systems, or other standard line bypass Y2 applications.

Application examples include the automotive industry, OBC, HVAC e-compressors, inverters for renewable energies, UPS, systems, and Industrial motor drives.
