Rutronik's display portfolio includes the 28” B/W e-paper display solution S280EC-O from SEEKINK. They amaze with extremely low power consumption and can be easily operated by solar cells, making them ideal for outdoor use in areas with little access to electricity, while also lowering operating costs and CO2 emissions. With water and crash-proof protection and an operating temperature range of -15C to +65C, the displays are particularly suited to outdoor use.

The 770mm x 290mm x 71.2mm e-paper display is a complete solution with front light and integrated computer that allows data updates, such as passenger information, and software updates in ≤2 seconds. The e-paper technology and the pre-implemented front-light solution always supply exceptional readability, even in extreme sunlight or darkness.

Even in the event of a power failure, the display continues to show information. Above all, however, the screens impress with their low energy consumption, which on the one hand enables power supply by solar cells and, therefore, allows use at bus stops without electricity. On the other hand, it also reduces operating costs and reduces CO2 emissions to zero, ensuring sustainable operation. This type of display is also available in 13.3” and 31.2”.

Typical applications include bus and train stops, stops without a permanently installed power supply and applications that can be supplied with power via solar panels.
