XConn Technologies (XConn) has announced that its PCIe Gen 5 switch, the XC51256 'Apollo', has successfully passed NVIDIA's rigorous NVQual PCIe review. This testing demonstrated successful compatibility of the XConn Apollo switch with NVIDIA H100 GPUs, ensuring seamless integration for customers in AI, ML and HPC environments.
The NVQual tool is NVIDIA's standard for testing and validating the operational compatibility of products with its range of GPUs. The successful test review indicates that the Apollo PCIe switch meets the high standards demanded for stability, performance and reliability when used with NVIDIA technology.
"Our Apollo switch is ideally suited for applications that require the flexibility of a high 256-lane count, enabling systems to scale without hitting performance bottlenecks," said Gerry Fan, CEO of XConn Technologies. "Passing the NVQual PCIe Review is not just a milestone for our Apollo switch but a testament to our commitment to providing cutting-edge technology that integrates smoothly with leading GPU manufacturers like NVIDIA. Now customers can be assured that they are equipped with a tested, proven solution that enhances the performance and reliability required to tackle the most demanding computing tasks."
The switch features unprecedented flexibility for PCIe devices, making it an excellent solution for building advanced AI systems. With 256 lanes, it offers the industry's lowest latency and power consumption per port, promoting considerable cost savings and improved performance.
The test review validation by NVIDIA ensures that the company's switches will be an integral part of the infrastructure for data-intensive workloads such as AI/ML training and genomics processing, where quick data movement and high reliability are crucial.
XConn's PCIe Gen 5.0 switch, XC51256, provides dense lane configurations for applications heavily reliant on GPUs and accelerators, such as JBOG and JBOA processing setups. The Apollo switch family is also the industry's first to deliver hybrid CXL 2.0 and PCIe Gen 5 support in a single switch to further future-proof system designs.
