Smart AI antenna technology verified in radio communication analyser

Anritsu Corporation and MediaTek have verified Smart AI Antenna Technology featured in MediaTek's M90 5G Modem using Anritsu's Radio Communication Analyser MT8821C.

Smart Antenna, developed by MediaTek, is an advanced antenna technology that supports body proximity sensing, AI gesture detection, and 24% faster low-band uplink throughput with power and antenna tuning optimisation functions and will play a key role in innovations in Advanced 5G and 6G.

Anritsu supports verification for these functions with the MT8821C, designed for R&D into mobile devices, such as smartphones, tablets, IoT modules, and chipsets. It supports all technologies, ranging from LTE-U/LAA/Higer order MIMO/LTE-Advanced to 3G/2G, with its simple-to-use measurement functions for efficient RF adjustment and testing in one unit.

This advanced smart AI antenna technology will be demonstrated at the MediaTek booth in collaboration with Anritsu at MWC2025 with Anritsu, where visitors can see how smart AI antennas can enhance the user experience.
