Marktech Optoelectronics has announced its new 235nm and 255nm UVC LEDs mounted on starboards, a notable innovation created to accelerate the development and prototyping of sensors, instruments, and sanitisers. These state-of-the-art UVC LEDs on starboards are a convenient solution, relieving optical and electrical design engineers from the intricacies of PCB design and assembly and enabling them to quickly evaluate the performance of 235nm or 255nm UVC LEDs in their projects.

The Silanna UVC LEDs are packaged in the company's proprietary ATLAS hermetic SMD package. This package provides excellent environmental protection for UVC chips in a highly compact footprint. The new devices are available in flat lens and dome lens versions. The flat lens delivers a wider viewing angle of 120°, and the dome lens decreases the viewing angle to 60°.

"This launch marks a significant milestone in germicidal UV applications," said Vince Forte, chief technology officer of Marktech Optoelectronics. "By providing these advanced UVC LEDs on starboards, we are not only delivering a superior product but also empowering designers to bring safer, more efficient solutions to market quicker than ever."

Marktech's UVC LEDs on starboards are now available for order. They provide an invaluable tool for developers who want to leverage the latest UVC technology for innovative and effective germicidal solutions.
